A new book of poetry and drawings 'A River Fights for Itself,' written during recent travels in India with Nilaya Sabnis, sketching glimpses of our camel trip deep into the Thar Desert, daydreams on short Indigo plane rides, a long night drive through Uttar Pradesh, finding a night canoe in the Kerala backwater, an unexpected rope burning acting stint in Goa, thoughts on scrolls of time under desert stars, waking up in Bombay, and the art of being lost and found on the river of life with the one you love; woven together by drawings and paintings done on location, as well as photographs from the great eye of Nilaya.
