A dark turquoise light shines from 

The room where the Great Tyger had 

Her final dream

 

I remember her

Eyes open blind, lavender grey, her goddess 

Rising from her dying body luminous

The Owl flown across the road

I played Unchained 

 

Years later, a vision around the moon in Taos, turquoise-

every turquoise, sleeping beauty, the blue doors of the adobe, the sky water above the mountain, her smile pearl, the wind, the wedding-

I could almost clasp it around my neck
